Speedfest - DYO Racer Ticket

Three of the biggest names in street car drag racing event promotion will be joining forces for a massive show at Beech Bend Raceway, Kentucky with the running of the first ever Speedfest presented by Sick The Magazine, Street Car Takeover and Braggin Rights. Sick DYO Class Regulations
General Rules

• Car and driver must comply with NHRA specifications for ET. For example, a 9.90 ET cannot be handed in if the car and driver are only teched to 10.00.
• Car and driver must meet applicable general rules (linked above).
• Hard tires prohibited.
• Throttle stops and delay boxes prohibited.
• Drag and drive sessions will be provided across two days of competition. Competitors may make one run per session.
• The 100-mile street drive and checkpoints will be mandatory and will take place after the first session. The street drive must be completed before the racer makes their next run.
• Competitors will be required to submit three time slips, which will create their average time.
• Competition is over a quarter-mile race distance.
• The objective is to have as small a spread as possible. For example, time slips of 13.485, 13.490 and 13.501 would equal a spread of 0.016.
• A minimum of one time slip is required from each day of competition.
• All time slips will need to be handed in within 15 minutes of the conclusion of the last session.
• The top ten smallest spreads will receive Sick Week Wildcards.
• The top five smallest spreads will each receive a giant check for $1,000.
• The overall winner with the smallest spread will receive a Sick orange champion’s helmet.
• Bracket-style runoffs will be used in the event of a tie for the win or top five.
